SLM – Selective Laser Melting
The data for printing is suitable to deliver in a formats: STL, STEP, SAT, X_T, X_B
Technology Selective Laser Melting (SLM) enables the production of unique parts, prototypes and test samples with complicated geometry or internal structure, which are difficult to produce by conventional technologies. The part is formed by successive deposition of thin layers of metal powder which are sintered by a laser beam. The process produces a homogenous metal parts directly from a 3D CAD data. Construction parts takes place in an inert atmosphere of N2, makes it possible to declare the purity of the processed material.
In the manufacture of each layer portion experiencing the full throughput of material which is achieved by the density of 99.9%. SLM 280 HL processing system enables a wide range of metallic materials such as stainless steel, tool steel, cobalt-chrome or super alloys. Furthermore, devices using an inert argon atmosphere to work with the reactive metal powders such as aluminum and titanium alloys.
